Citizen’s Comments:

Eda Laughlin – volunteer, Town Hall.  Mrs. Laughlin reflected on the beauty of the American Flag and what it represents; this lead her to begin to think  about the Town having its own Flag. Mrs. Laughlin presented a Flag she designed, and explained what the shapes and colors represents. The Flag will be presented to the Town as a gift once it receives a favorable ruling from the Supreme Court; Mrs. Laughlin will maintain the ownership. Island T’s Promotion was thanked for making the Flag. Councilman Qualey added that he was inspired by Mrs. Laughlin’s work and hopes to this will soon be the Town’s Flag.
